Hello everyone! Sorry for disappearing. However, I had a good reason to do so. My first child, Alexander Soares Vieira Quarrell, was born on the 7th of October! He was a chunky baby weighing 3.8kg (8lb6oz) and measured 52.5 cm. Our healthy handsome boy has overtaken our lives, turned them upside down but all for the best, except for the sleeping patterns. For that reason, I have been very tired due to the sleep deprivation. However, last night I managed to have three wonderful hours so I feel fabulous again. So here I am back to finally tell my birth story.
Archives for October 2015
On the 3rd of October I reached the mile stone of being pregnant for 40 amazing weeks. You know how pregnant you are when your bump is so big that people start asking you if you are pregnant with twins or elderly people overtake you! I am now at that stage of about to pop any time… until Wednesday the 7th. It is my deadline for the baby to come out spontaneously otherwise I will be submitted for a caesarean. So to celebrate my “nearly there” baby joy, I have decided to write this post about the funny facts about my pregnancy, which is a sort of retrospective of the last 9 months. I hope former or future pregnant ladies can relate to some of my personal experiences.
The weekend is here and lots of people are going out to Brazilian nightclubs in London such as Guanabara, Floripa and Made in Brasil. If you are a “gringo” looking for a place to mingle with Brazilians, these are the best options in town. However, if you are a gringo and already dating a non Brazilian woman, perhaps you don’t want to go there. Apparently we Brazilian are “dangerous” and a threat to committed men’s relationship! Let me explain you why.
