Hi guys, sorry about my disappearance. I hope you missed me because I missed you! I have to say, I didn’t disappear deliberately. I’ve been just enjoying my motherhood too much! That is right, I feel thankful for being blessed with my beautiful boy and, each day, we have lots of activities, places to go, people to see or simply enjoy each other’s company! However, because life is not perfect, my HBQ (Hilarious Baby Quarrell) is still to learn how to sleep! Yes, he still wakes up a million times during the night and loves to fight his nap during the day, making me spend a lot of time trying to get him to rest. That might involve me either having to sing all the Brazilian music I know from the top of my head or take him for a long walk in his pram. And when he naps, it only lasts around 30 minutes or so! That is why there is not much time left for me to write. Thankfully my super cute and helpful husband came to the rescue and took the baby away so I can have some time today to write and time for nails!! I have to say, I don’t like to being apart from either of them and I don’t feel tired of being with them, but it is important to be on my own so I can get things done!
Archives for January 2016
I have always dreamed of getting married in a mermaid dress with a long veil, having a grand entrance and the main thing, having a handsome, loving and glamorous man waiting for me at the altar. I don’t want to brag much about it but I had all that! All the things I dreamed about, I managed to get at my wedding. I guess the love and effort we put into making our day an unforgettable experience for both ourselves and our guests, helped us to have our wedding shortlisted for “Wedding of the year” from the period of October 2014 to October 2015.
Happy new year everyone! Finally got some time to write whilst the baby is napping, phew! I hope you had a lovely time over the Christmas period. I had a wonderful and very busy Christmas at my parents in law’s house and a quite new years eve with just my two boys in the house. One of them was even naked! No, Dan did not feel cold (sorry husband, but I am proud of that nudity moment) :P! However, I might have over indulged and as I am still carrying some of the post pregnancy weight, things are not looking great in front of the mirror. For that reason, I decided to make a new year resolution: post pregnancy fitness.
