Hello everyone! I’ve been thinking recently about how lucky I am. Why? Because I have found the man of my dreams, have married and now have a baby together. It helped a lot that we already knew each other, both lived in London (and want to continue living here) and I was already familiar with the English culture. Once upon a time I was in Brazil and had fallen in love with an American. I thought he loved me and that we were going to end up together. The distance was not in our favour and the relationship didn’t survive, as he didn’t want to come to Rio to wait for me to finish my studies and neither asked me to move in with him. Thankfully with Dan things were different. I have always been fond of England and was determined to stay. I had to leave, request my fiancé visa in order to come and get married to him. So this time around it was easier to pursue the relationship as we both wanted to continue living in London.
