We met at a New Year’s party I went to with one of my best friends. The only contact I had with a “gringo” before was a kiss I shared with a guy I met whilst doing my exchange student programme during high school in America. That night at the party I think when I heard English being spoken, I realised I was ready for my second “foreigners kiss”. We saw each other and as if a magnet connected us, we approached each other, he said “do you speak English” and I said “yes I do, kiss me” (I know, I was very hard to get!). And just like that my first foreign love entered my life.

Hello everyone! Changing age has inspired me to write as I had to do a bit of reflection about my “30’s”. I have to say, my twenties were great, but apart from my degree, no major achievements. Once I hit three decades, I have had ups and downs but definitely more ups. I also came to the conclusion I’ve had much more fun once I hit three decades. Well, it actually had a shaky start but then it just got better and better.
Although I will give you a quick summery of each 30th year of my life, bear in mind that I have amazing friends who are extremely happy in their relationships (and with kids) in their 20s and 40s. It is never too early or too late to find “the one”. It just happened to me on my thirties. Here you go.
